13oz sized with quality acid free triple gesso priming. This properly seals and protects the canvas, while providing a receptive painting surface upon which you can expect to create an artwork that will last for many, many years. The yarns are woven with two warp and one weft therefore producing a stable, medium weight canvas that is suitable for many different painting techniques, including heavy impasto (thick paint layers) work.
